She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown and Louise Brown Sr. (Payne); her husband James Taylor; and her brother Jim Brown. She is survived by: her children, John Powell Jr. (Maryann) and Shelly Blankenship (Tom); her grandchildren, Samantha (Matt), Kim, Brandon (Allison), Bryan, Brendan and Nicholle (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Audrey, Aria, Aiden, Carter, Evelyn, Coen and Peyton; and her siblings, Patty Shoults (Keith), Gale Heft and Christopher Heft III. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
