He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Raymond Grove and Ara Josephine Ramsey (Crown); his wife Gertrude Grove (Coble); his brothers, Marshal "Duke" Ramsey and Theodore "Teddy" Ramsey; and his aunt Myrtle York.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn McCallister (Anthony) of Newark, Lucinda Mays (David) of Heath and Sarah Burchard of Newark; his grandchildren, Anthony McCallister (Kristina), Theresa Kelly, Colin Bline, Calab Scarberry (Joanna), Karalyn Scarberry, Shelby Little (Sammy), Joshua Mays, Noah Mays, Aiden McCallister and James McCallister; his great grandchildren, Briona Carter (Terry), Breezie, Ethan, Colton, Leona Stroble, Wyatt, Owen, Mia, Catarina, Zoe, Ryder and Caroline; and his brothers, Richard "Dick" Grove, Roy Ramsey, Bobby Ramsey and Andrew York (Chris). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
