He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert and Joyce Arlene Asselin (Loop); and his brother Joseph Asselin. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lynn Asselin (Kirkpatrick); his children, Meme Asselin of Newark, Shawn Kirkpatrick of Zanesville and Linda Kirkpatrick of Zanesville; his grandchildren, Joshua Perkins, Trevor Kirkpatrick, Connor Kirkpatrick, Tommy Perkins-Asselin, Amber Kirkpatrick and Karsor Kirkpatrick; his sisters, Tammy Asselin-Eischen of Toledo and Tanya Asselin of Newark; his uncle Mike Asselin; his aunt Michelle Mullins; and his cousin Dawn Binckley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
