She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard T. Cole and Dorothy M. Cole (Phillips); her husband Harry F. Handwerk; her daughter Carrie Wicker; and her brothers-in-law, Philip Korb, Larry Porter, Wayne Handwerk, Jack Handwerk, Owen Handwerk and Ivan Handwerk.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Roderick (Donald) of St. Louisville, Roger Handwerk (Beth) of Mt. Gilead, Gayle Ewing (David) of Englewood and Michele Tisdale (Robin) of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Marinda Fries (Andrew), Jill Hamlett (Marquis), Collin Wicker, Molly Tisdale, Emily Miller (Drew) and Andrew Tisdale; her great grandchildren, Madeline Fries, Luke Fries and Lyla Miller; her sisters, Pauline Korb of Waterloo and Carolyn Porter of Newark; and her son-in-law Gerald Wicker of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
