She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Charles and Annie Laurie Thacker (May); her siblings, Zach, Buford, Marvin Thacker, Nina Mae Gleckler and Jo Ann Dotson; and her stepsiblings, Harry, Arnett, Dennis, Hattie, Elsie and Irene.
She is survived by: her son Mark Parsley; and her sister Blanch Wemlinger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
