It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Jayne Smith of Newark, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Pfeifer Herr and Betty Jane Herr (Jackson); her husband William Dennis Smith; and her sisters, Nancy Metcalf and Cheryl Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Smith (Christine), Ryan Smith (Denise), Derek Smith (Heather), Travis Smith, Evan Smith and Cecelia Smith; her grandchildren, Samsonite, Kristin, Aric, Katie and Hayden; her sisters, Colleen Knerr and Gloria Boroff; and her stepsister Janice Merritt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
