She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Raymond and Sylvia S. Mallonee (Otto); and her brothers, Michael P. Mallonee and William F. Mallonee (Elizabeth). She is survived by: her husband Jeff Gaumer; her son Eric P. Gaumer; her sister-in-law Virgene Mallonee; her cousin Christine Wirick; and her close friends, Debby and Dave Shelley. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home (141 Green Wave Dr, Newark, OH 43055). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament (394 E Main St, Newark, OH 43055). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (7028 Mt Vernon Rd, Newark, OH 43055).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Karen's name can be made to Blessed Sacrament Elementary School.
