He is survived by: his mother Mary; his stepfather Dennis Sears; his sisters, Elizabeth Thomakos (Steven) of New Philadelphia and Susan Moriyama (Shinichi) of Portland, Oregon; his stepsister Tanya Sears of Concord; his nephews, Dillon Thomakos (Lillian), Spencer Thomakos (Amber) of Columbus, Cameron Thomakos of Mt. Pleasant and Sage Moriyama of Portland, Oregon; his niece Olivia Thomakos of South Kingston; his great-niece Luna; and his great-nephews, Oliver and Declan.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Broadway Global Methodist Church (120 Church Ave SE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
