He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grant and Hattie Myrle Davis (Lancaster); his wife Denna "Joan" Davis; his sons, David Wayne Davis and John Albert Davis, Jr.; and his siblings, Dale, Chester, Don, Harley, Larry, Hilda, Wilma, Lilly and Rachel.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Tilley (Billy), Barb Davis and James "JD" Davis (Cindy); his grandchildren, Denna Day (Dave), Debra Burgett (Josh), Jimmy McDonald (Gail), Josh McDonald, Dustin Luckydoo (Jane), Kelly Tilley (CJ) and Ashley Sparks (Mark); and his close friends, Jim, Betty Burrell, Larry and Janet Smith. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
John also enjoyed helping anyone in need and many times would donate most of the vegetables out of his garden.
