It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Sue Crowley of Newark, Ohio, born in Harrisburg, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Leek and Sylvia Leek (Grable); her husband John N. Crowley; her brother Jeff Leek; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Leek, Judy Kaercher, Sandy Crowley and John "Jack" Simi.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Crowley (Kathleen), Jason Crowley (Kathy Bowles) and Jill Evans (Mike); her grandchildren, Alex Barbour (Eric), Amanda Crowley and Jake Evans; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Liam and Ronan; her siblings, Rick Leek and Sandy Sturman (Roger); her siblings-in-law, Jim Crowley, Jan Simi and George Kaercher; and her friends, Dee and Skip DeGonia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home (141 Green Wave Dr, Newark, OH 43055). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
