He was predeceased by: his parents, James Winters and Mildred Winters (Rein); his uncle Howard Rein; his granddaughter Nicole Winters; and his siblings-in-law, Stephen Triplett and Patricia Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa (Gorius); his children, Amy Carpenter (Rick), Lori Gilligan (Steve), Joan Wilder (Todd), Nancy Bourne (Kelly), Maribeth Peddicord (David), Jim Winters (Ashley) and Barry Winters (Emily); and his in-laws, Rosemary Triplett, Kenny Scott, Tom Gorius (Terry) and Bob Gorius (Cindy). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.
