James C. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Landis and Dorothy Helene Landis (Miles). He is survived by: his wife Rheta (Franklin); his daughters, Deborah Landis of Coshocton, OH and Lorah Bailey (Tim) of Kensington, OH; his grandchildren, Jayson, Aaron, Rochelle, Ben and Amy; his siblings, Edward Benoway (Linda), Michael Johnson (Joy) and Sally Finck (Mark) of Newark; and also Anneke Dost of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, James requests that memorial gifts be given to the American Cancer Society or the Stevie LaDue Firefighters Foundation.
