He is survived by: his wife Sharon K. Gray (Hardin); his son Zachery C. Gray; his sister Debra; his brother-in-law Jim Clary; his brother Kenneth Gray; his close friends, Carol and Earl O'Bannon; his friends, Scott Burgy, Bill Hunter and Matt Stickle; his logger buddy Ryan Baldridge; and his pets, Ciara, Maddie, Oreo and Lily. He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew and one great niece and two great nephews.
