He was predeceased by: his parents, Elaine Pemberton Hixson Reberry (Pemberton) and Myrald S. Hixson; his stepfather Howard Reberry; his brother Jack A. Hixson; his children, Deborah L. Hixson and Forrest Hixson (Jon); and his nephew Greg Hixson.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl L. Badgett; and his granddaughters, Katina L Badgett, Cassandra L. Badgett and Jessica Hixson-Brown. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and three nieces and one nephew.
