He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond'Roy'Joseph Franks and Frances Cecelia Franks (Boch); his wife Peggy; his siblings, Joe (Eileen), George (Connie), Rosemary, Larry, Bobby (Carol) and Mary (William); and his son-in-law Mike Finlaw.
He is survived by: his former spouse Margaret'Peggy'Hillis; his children, Donald Edward Franks of Newark, Rosann Franks of Thornville, Annette Franks (Dave Powers) of Columbus and John Charles Franks (Rebecca Hampton) of Newark; his grandsons, Andrew Franks and Bryan Franks; his great grandchildren, Annie, Ellie, Emily Finlaw (Fredrik) and Leo; his grandson Zack Franks; his great grandchildren, Presley, Sutton Charles, Josey, Rowen, Rylee, Grayson and Asher; his siblings-in-law, Donald Hill and Laura Franks; and also John. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
