With solemn reverence, we commemorate Charles D. Hottinger of Newark, Ohio, whose life came to an end on October 25, 2024 at the age of 70, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hottinger and Nellie Hottinger (Shipley); his brothers, Dean, Bill, Roger, Joe and Melvin Hottinger; and his nephews, Little Don and Willie "Big Will".
He is survived by: his daughter Donita Shockey (Christopher Stergios); his siblings, Don Hottinger (Dodie), Matt Hottinger, Pamela Davis, Cheryl Baker (Scott) and Michelle Miller (Russ); his granddaughter Charlize Keplar; and his stepgrandchildren, Stephen, Ariel and Bryce Shockey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Camp O'Bannon (9688 Butler Rd NE, Newark, OH 43055).
