It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Lee Thomas of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Souders (Wilbur) and Arnold Souders; her brother Donald Souders; and her nephew Chauncey Immell. She is survived by: her children, Larry Ray Thomas (Abby), Tara Thomas and Corey Thomas; her grandchildren, Kinley, Ignatius and Genevieve; her siblings, Jeri Pope, Mike Souders, Debbie Finn, Cindy Souders, Mark Souders, Jeff Souders, Melinda Barton and Renee Souders; her pet Midnight; and her close friend Chris Davis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
