With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Birdie Christine Cole of Newark, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Birdie Christine left this world on November 2, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hersey Robertson and Hattie Alberta Robertson (Redden); and her siblings, Lucille, Willean, Mary Lee, Abraham, Calvin, John and Lorenzy.
She is survived by: her son Gregory D. Robertson (Raquel); her brothers, Hersey Robertson (Starlet) and Hubert Robertson (Eleanor); her grandchildren, Jamillah Sutton, Darnell Robertson, Christopher Elkins, Camylle Elkins and Gregory Robertson; and her sisters-in-law, Bettie and Francine. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity AME Church (64 E Church St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
