She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Elliott, and Vera Elliott, Sr. (Milner); her husband Theodore B. Thompson; her children, Michael Thompson, Jacqueline R. Bradley and Beverly Ann Green; and her siblings, Fred Elliott, Jr., Edward Elliott, Donald Elliott, John Elliott, Robert Elliott and Mamie Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Ned Thompson (Kelli), Tommy Thompson, Desi Thompson, Dion Price (Steven) and Felicia Thompson; her sisters, Gloria Elliott, Shirley Allen, Edwina Flemister Gladys Elliott and Erma Elliott; her close friend Manuel Turner; and also Marie Shackleford, Sr. (Daniel). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newark Chapel (1850 W Main St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
