It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty A. Short of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty A. Short to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry East, Sr. and Dorotha King (Glasgow); her sisters, Mary Hillenburg, Jenny Stewart and Lora Lynn Keller; and her close friend William C. Short.
She is survived by: her children, Larry E. Blackburn of Newark and Billie Stemm of Newark; her brother Pastor Tom East (Lee Anne); her grandchildren, Amy Rutkowski of Newark, Nick Kincaid of Newark and Alex Stemm of Newark; and her great grandchildren, Treston Kincaid, Cade Rutkowski, Brady Rutkowski, Peyton Kincaid and Riley Kincaid. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
