Barbara L. Rehl Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara L. Rehl of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Harrington and Gladys Harrington (Garner); her husband William M. Rehl II; her son Mark Rehl; her son-in-law Edward Wiswell; and her siblings, Mary Shumaker (Jim) and Charles Harrington (Jeanne).
She is survived by: her children, William M. "Bill" Rehl, III (Lori), Stephen J. Rehl (Kim) and Mary A. Wiswell; and her grandchildren, Michael Rehl (Sara), Patrick Rehl, Kristen Rehl, Connor Rehl (Kaitlynn), Kyle Rehl (Madison), William Wiswell and Joseph Wiswell (Cristina). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service (59 N 5th St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (45 Granville St, Newark, OH 43055). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery-Columbus (6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
