He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Osberg and Marion Suffolk Osberg; his daughter-in-law Jessica Osberg; and his siblings, Peggy Bacon and Carl Osberg.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ash Osberg; his children, Craig Osberg (Lana) of New Waterforfd, Eric Osberg of Columbiana, Cindy Neiheisel (Michael) of Columbiana and Tina Osberg of New Waterford; his grandchildren, James, Jessica, Timothy, Ryan, Brett, Jarred, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Regan and Logan; and his siblings, Richard R. Osberg of Hubbard and Diane Carlisle (Dallas) of New Waterford.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the family will be holding private services at this time and a public memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Robert.
