James Whitacre Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2020, at the age of 83, James Whitacre of New Waterford, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald LeRoy and Olive Whitacre Rice (Walter) of Virginia; his former wife Nancy Whitacre (Gorby); his siblings, Gene, Windy, Bob Whitacre and Virginia "Ginny" Baughman; and his stepfather Harley Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Whitacre (Dunn); his daughters, Rhonda Coppock (Rick) of Columbiana, Brenda Smith (Don) of East Liverpool and Diana Bogdan (Nick) of Columbiana; his stepchildren, Bill Dilworth (Tina) of East Palestine, Glenn Dilworth (Cara) of East Palestine and Mindy Blythe (Robby) of East Palestine; his sisters, Janice Weingart of Salem, Linda Wehr (Myron) of New Waterford, Carol Dickinson of New Waterford and Karen Wick (Guy) of Unity; and his grandchildren, Ben Greenawalt (Amber), Jamie Corbitt (Jayden), Abby Hill (Cory), Adam Coppock (Erin), Ryan Smith and Rachel Smith (Dustin Martsolf). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
For the safety of family and friends, face masks will be required and social distancing protocols will be observed.
