James R. Gallagher Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Gallagher of New Waterford, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sgalla and Dorothy Virginia Gallagher Sgalla; and his cousin Tammy. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Crump Gallagher; his daughters, Amy Dettmer (Kevin) of Canfield and Colleen Waller (Robert) of New Waterford; his grandchildren, Jacob Waller (Lindsey) of Charlotte, NC, Emily Rhodes of New Castle, PA, Daniel Rhodes (Skylar) of New Castle, PA, Noah Waller of New Waterford, Nathan Dettmer (Taylor) of Canfield and Aaron Dettmer of Boardman; his great grandchildren, Gavin Tino, Avery Waller-Thompson, Landry Waller, Zayn Rhodes and Kai Rhodes; and his cousins, Nicki, Debbie and Tina. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rogers Assembly of God (8251 Sprucevale Rd, Rogers, OH 44455).
