He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hostetter and Jean Souders Hostetter; and his wife Sharon Salyers Hostetter. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hostetter (Jacqui), David Hostetter (Debra) and Holly Muransky. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
