It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Kanney of New Washington, Ohio, born in Shelby, Ohio, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Rietschlin and Nellie Rietschlin (Mitten); her husband William "Bill" Kanney; her siblings, Ruth Kehres (Leonard), Robert Rietschlin (Eleanor) and Joseph Rietschlin (Maryann); her sister-in-law Lucy Rietschlin; and her nephew Karl Joseph Kanney.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Kanney (Linda) of Pikeville, KY, Janice Blue (John) of Marion, OH, Patti Steffenhagen (Kevin) of Willard, OH, Nancy Hall (Kevin) of Aiken, SC and Nellie Reith (Frank) of Shelby, OH; and her brother Mark Rietschlin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
