It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Shannon Bishop of New Washington, Ohio, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wright and Alice Wright (Shepherd); her grandson Seth Buffington; and her siblings, Wallace Wright, Larry Wright, Lois Robinson, Jewell Mann and Jean Howard.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Bishop; her children, Melissa Buffington (Arvel), Georgia Vogel (Carl), Deanna Lopez (Ariel), Ryan Bishop and Lance Bishop; her grandchildren, Desiree Buffington, Josh Buffington, Issac Kehres, Maddie Dendinger, Adriana Lopez, Alex Lopez, Anthony Lopez, Isabella Bishop, Ethan Ocho and Gavin Bishop; her great grandchildren, Brooks Dendinger, Journee Buffington, Amiyah Buffington, Chandler Buffington and Avery Buffington; and her siblings, Hansel Wright, Suvon Manion and Sharon Kilgore. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home (414 E Main St, New Washington, OH 44854). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (422 W Mansfield St, New Washington, OH 44854).
