She was predeceased by: her father Anthony McCarthy; her husband Melvin J. "Buck" Shell; her grandson William Jeffrey; and her siblings, Joseph McCarthy, Margaret Fogelson, Tom McCarthy and Jack McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Jeffrey (Paul) of Bucyrus, David Shell (Terese) of Dublin, Cynthia Weithman (Timon) of New Washington, Deacon Timothy Shell (Sandi) of Willowick, Suzanne Shell of New Washington and Melissa Barrett (Alecia) of Toledo, Ohio; her grandchildren, Michelle Farris, Michael Shell (Sara), Katherine Kremin (Devin), Hannah Shell, Matthew Jeffrey (Stephanie), Paul W. Jeffrey (Jacqueline), Penelope Shell, Christopher Shell, Nathan Shell, Jessica Dapper (Jake), Caroline Reagan (John), Timothy Shell, Jonathan Shell, Skyler Barrett and Ember Barrett; her great grandchildren, Devan Shell, Kenion Shell, Kennedy Kremin, Isaac Kremin, Noah Kremin, Alexander Jeffrey, Ayden Jeffrey, Ayanna Jeffrey, Spencer Dapper, Preston Dapper and Brayden Dapper; her sisters, Mary Ann Painter (Dick), Joan Ziegman (Wayne) and Eileen Utiss (Gary); and her sisters-in-law, Linda McCarthy and Mary McCarthy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
