She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Slingwine and Vivian Slingwine (Dendinger); her husband Joseph Bishop; her brother Richard Slingwine; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Covert and Bill Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Bishop of New Washington, Kevin Bishop (Dori) of Bloomville, Tom of New Washington, Tim Bishop of New Washington, Jane Ott (John) of Norwalk, Susan Clady (Rick) of New Washington and Mary Lou Hamilton (Jeff) of Plymouth; her siblings, Raymond Slingwine (Sandy) of Green Springs, Fern Kinn (Jim) of Alvada, Ireta Martin of Tiffin and Mary Jane Covert of Tiffin; and her sister-in-law Kate Slingwine of Clyde. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
