Ben Lash Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ben Lash (New Washington, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lash and Nadine Lash; his stepparents, Dorothy Lash and Cantwell Lash; his brother Bud; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Kaple, Dale Smith, Bill Kaple, Tom Kaple and Tom Frazee.

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Michelle, John and Melissa; his family, Michelle, Brad Geissman, John and Allyson Marx; his grandchildren, Molly, Graham, Casey, Elliot Geissman (Michelle), Simon, Wyatt, Archie Lash (John), Trey and Zeeke Taylor (Melissa); his pet Riley; his brothers, Robert Lash (Karen) and Marvin (Vicky); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Kaple, Flossie Kaple, MaryJean Smith, Jan Frazee and David Kaple (Heather). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Bernard School (320 W Mansfield St, New Washington, OH 44854). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (422 W Mansfield St, New Washington, OH 44854).
