He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack and Mary Kaufman Farquer, Sr.; his stepmother Alice; his sister Barb Mitchell; his daughter Lynn MacKenzie; his stepson Adam Sturgeon; and his nephew Loy Farquer.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Sturgeon Farquer; his brother Jack (Kay); his children, Vernon Jr., Russell and Tina; and his brother-in-law Wayne Mitchell.
