He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard "Happy" and Alice Scowden Spurlock. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Spurlock (Frump); his daughter Paula Spurlock; his siblings, Janet Smith, Guy, John and Wayne Spurlock; his children, Jessie Spurlock and Tina Parker; and his siblings, Estel (Patty), Roger (Connie), Jim, Larry (Kathy), Dale Spurlock, Terry Spurlock (Kim), Marcie Laufer and Roxie Woods (Sonny Morgan). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
