She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert Carey; her sons, Douglas, Kevin (Carrie) and Matthew Carey (Nyhla); her grandchildren, Carter Carey (Micaela Mills), Katie, Carson, Kenley, Olivia and Paige Carey; and her sister Brenda Bloom of Wilmington.
