He is survived by: his wife Janice Murray VanDervort; his children, Valarie Reed (David) of Mason and James Victor VanDervort (Tammy) of Leesburg; his sister Rebecca Thumma (Jim); his grandchildren, Deirdra Smith, Timothy Reed (Janice), Amy Kibbey (Timothy), Ann Zerkle (Josh), Matthew VanDervort, Erika Miller (Nic) and Jessica Ames (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Cody, Austin Ashcraft, Sam, Seth Reed, Simon, Jonah Kibbey, Jill, Leak Zerkle, Madelyn, Lincoln VanDervort, Kate, Garrett Miller and Amelia Ames. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
