He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brannon and Esther Brannon; his wife Shirley Faye Brannon; and his sister Jeannette Brannon. He is survived by: his children, James F. Brannon II (Andrea Bigda) of New Vienna and Jerry Lee Cowin (Alan) of Wilmington; and his siblings, Jerry Brannon, Esther Ann Spence and Shirleigh Brannon. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
