She is survived by: her children, Troy Smith, Terry Smith, Todd Smith, Toby Pyle, Chrystal Smith and Candi Smith; her brother George W. Cox; her close friend Carolyn Spurlock; and her sisters, Esther Bell, Mildred Moore and Clarine Quigley. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
