He is survived by: his wife Ethel Mae Cox Workman; his stepchildren, Troy Smith, Terry Smith, Todd Smith, Crystal Smith, Candi Smith and Toby Pyle; and his half-siblings, John Damron, Ray Damron and Phyllis Damron Gilliam. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
