He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Peterson and Goldie Kimberley Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Keaton Peterson; his children, Vickie Daugherty (Roger), Donna Denny, Ida Grubb, Kimberley Manning (James) and Donald Junior Peterson II; and his siblings, Eugene Peterson, Charlotte Markland, Jim, Joe, Louise and Helen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
