With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Knauff of New Vienna, Ohio, born in Peebles, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Knauff and Agnes Knauff (Hayslip); his son Phil Knauff; his siblings, Inez McCleese, Max Knauff and Wylie Knauff; and his stepfather Oscar Van Pelt.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Knauff (Williams); his son Keith Knauff of New Vienna; his siblings, Irene Puckett, Ruth Chaney, Kay Bartley, Glenn Knauff (Nancy) and Jim Van Pelt; his nephew Mike Knauff; and his niece Elizabeth Westbeld (Roger). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and many, many wonderful friends.
