With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Lou McGuire of New Vienna, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Swonger and Alice Swonger (Weekley); and her sister Nancy Booth. She is survived by: her husband Steven G. "Steve" McGuire; her children, Rae Penn of Sugartree Ridge, Todd McGuire (Onna) of Panama City, FL, Heather O'Connor of Hillsboro and Joshua McGuire of New Vienna; her grandchildren, Evan Penn, Justin Penn, Steven O'Connor, Hannah O'Connor, Jordan O'Connor, Olivia O'Connor, Josiah O'Connor and Jacob McGuire; her great grandchildren, Tagan, Alice, Leidan, Edgar, Samson and Jasper; her brothers, Robert Swonger (Carol) of Marlboro and Tim Swonger of Perrysville; and her siblings-in-law, Normalee Nisewonder (Johnny), Cheryl DeBoard (Mike) of Chillicothe, Kenneth Booth of Perrysville and James "Jim" McGuire (Brenda) of Wilmington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
