He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellis and Marjorie Overley (Ross); and his grandson David Gage Overley. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Evelyn Overley (Turner); his sons, William "David" Overley (Patty) of Grandville and Shawn Ellis Overley of New Straitsville, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Maesyn, Ethan Craig, Nylan Ellis, David Ray and Krestin Overley.
