We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2022, at the age of 62, Karen Buchanan Smith Sharpe of New Straitsville, Ohio, born in Mullens, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Buchanan and Florence Terry; her brother Eddy Buchanan; her nephew Ernie Rollins; her former husband Edward Smith; and her significant other Homer Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Cooper of Chauncey and Brandy Cooper of Glouster; her stepchildren, Eddie Craig Lisa and Jason Smith; her grandchildren, Brianna Beitzel, Christina Wheeler, Florence, Isabella, Courtney Klein, David, Ashleigh and Darren Willison; her great grandchildren, Austin, Quinton, Amiya, Jensen and Loki; her sisters, Sue, Sheila and Pam; her cousin Donna Cozort; and her close friend Taz. She is also survived by the cat and Heidi her dog; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to assist with end-of-life expenses.
