With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph U. Theis Jr. of New Riegel, Ohio, born in Tiffin, Ohio, who passed away on September 21, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Theis and Josephine Theis Sr. (Elchert); his siblings, Ronald Theis, Erma Jean Shellhammer and Diane Elchert; his brother-in-law Joe Elchert; and his grandson Zach Brodman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Theis of New Riegel; his children, Mark Theis (Melissa) of New Riegel, Lenny Theis (Robin) of New Riegel, Scott Theis (Jenny) of Alvada, Keith Theis (Jennifer) of New Riegel and Tina Brodman (Pat) of Carey; his brothers, Darl Theis (Kathy) of New Riegel and Kenneth Theis of Tennessee; and his brother-in-law Charles Shellhammer of New Riegel. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
