He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. McIntyre and Noreen McIntyre (Scott); and his siblings, Roy McIntyre, Margaret Kessler and Maude Collins.
He is survived by: his children, James McIntyre of Tiffin, Noreen McIntyre of Kentucky and Tina Johnson of Florida; his granddaughter Machayla Snook; and his niece Amanda Collins Fitch (Daniel). He is also survived by four great-nieces and nephews.
