He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter E. Elchert and Antionetta Elchert (Huss); his former wife Rose; his sons, Frederick V. Elchert, Jr. and William M. Elchert; his siblings, Edmund, Gerald, Richard, Loren, Valeria Bentz, Bertha Rogier and Irene Walters; his granddaughter Annette Allison; his son-in-law Robert Wade; and his stepson-in-law Ken Hammer.
He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Bouillon (Daniel); his daughters, Jane Clouse (Robert) of Tiffin, Rose Ann Cornett (Tim) of Tiffin, Ruth Wade of Tiffin and Lori Austerberry (Chuck) of Chesaning, Michigan; his stepchildren, Marie Schalk (Gary) of New Riegel, Randall Bouillon (Michiko) of New Riegel, Kristine Lucius (Jeff) of New Riegel, Betty Hammer of Helena and Sharon Perry (Jeff) of Tiffin; and his daughters-in-law, Ginny Elchert of North Carolina and Brenda Elchert of New Riegel. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren; and 9 step great grandchildren.
