Donald Nye Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2020, at the age of 93, Donald Nye of New Riegel, Ohio, born in Alvada, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Nye to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Nye and Germaine Nye (Gosche); his wife Edna M. "Honey" Elchert; his daughters, Jane Bowers and Linda Reinhart; and his siblings, Delbert Nye, Cyril Nye, Jr., Carl Nye, Berneida Lichtle and Shirley Daniel.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Nye (Dawn) of New Riegel, Roger Nye (Maryann) of New Riegel, Carolyn Schalk (Carl) of New Riegel, Bonnie Hohman (Stephen) of McCutchenville and Regina Wagner (Dave) of Alvada; his sons-in-law, Ken Bowers (Linda) of Tiffin and Florian Reinhart of Fostoria; and his siblings, Richard Nye (Rosie) of Alvada, Mary Lou Weinandy of Carey, Idella Reinhart of Fostoria, Eloise Reinhart (Lewis) of Fostoria, Donna Wagner (Gene) of Alvada, Theresa Szyblewski (Ralph) of Tiffin and Sharon Hohman (Marvin) of Tiffin. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, the family will not be receiving visitors, but the casket will be open from 10:00 A. M. until the time of the Mass on Friday at Church.
