He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lindsey and Verlah Lindsey; his daughter Gail McFarland; and his siblings, Ralph Lindsey, Paul Lindsey and Anna Figgins.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lindsey; and his children, Ralph Chase (Loretta), Raymond Chase (Ruth), Judith Lindsey, Rebecca McFarland (Richard), Roy Lindsey and Gregory Lindsey. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
