Cee Pee wrote a sympathy message

“John and I worked for Simpson Paper at the same time. He was in Texas and I was in Michigan. I had several occasions to visit his mill in Pasadena when we worked on projects of mutual interest. Even though we worked together only a few times, I considered him a good friend. He was always friendly, cooperative, had a good sense of humor, and was easy to talk with. It was great keeping up with him and his guitar on Facebook. You all have my deepest condolences and prayers. Craig Panse”
