He is survived by : his children, April Davidson (Blake), Roxanne Linn (Jimmy), Deborah Fields (Tim), Davey Newkirk, Michelle Hurm (Oscar), Lynnette McGiffen and Leslie Newkirk; his grandchildren, Ricky, Mandy Taylor, Rachel Elam, Courtney Wilson, Joseph Newkirk, Samantha Hurm and Michael Hurm; his great grandchildren, Little Rick, Cheyenne, Jason Johnson, Melody Calhoun, Brody David Newkirk and Bryce Newkirk; his great great grandchild Gracelynn Taylor; and his siblings, Donnie Newkirk, Judy Newkirk and Ronda Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
