He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Bonz and Beatrice Bonz; his children, Deborah Madden and Michael Bonz; and his siblings, Jerry Bonz and Kenny Bonz.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Bonz; his children, Linda Masters (Timothy) and Kelly Dabney; his stepchildren, Gregory Steinbuch, Michael Steinbuch (Mary) and Judi Kyle (late Chuck); and his sister Karen Porter (Jerry). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
